Linda Perry, Director

Linda Perry specializes in economic analyses, aviation demand forecasting, and comparative evaluations of airline service, route networks, and airfares. She was a senior consultant with LeighFisher for 13 years before rejoining the company in 2006 as the leader of the Forecasting and Economics Practice. From 1998 to 2006, she founded a woman-owned business enterprise (WBE), analyzing the economic and aviation activity of various airports.
Linda has a broad range of experience in preparing airline traffic forecasts for financial and planning projects, including financial feasibility studies, competitive hub analyses, master plans, Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR) Part 150 noise compatibility studies, gate utilization modeling, and airfield capacity evaluations. She has prepared airline traffic forecasts in support of financial feasibility studies for numerous airports, including those serving Denver, Hawaii, Houston, Orange County, Pensacola, and Tulsa. In 2007, she prepared aviation demand forecasts for an environmental impact statement for Houston’s William P. Hobby Airport which were adopted as the FAA’s Terminal Area Forecasts for the airport. From 2007 through 2010, she prepared aviation demand forecasts and other analyses for San Francisco International Airport as part of the planning efforts to accommodate new low fare airline service. In 2008, Linda prepared aviation demand forecasts for Portland International Airport as part of their Master Plan Update which were adopted as the FAA’s Terminal Area Forecasts for the airport. In 2010, she prepared aviation demand forecasts for Colorado Springs Airport as part of their Master Plan Update.
Linda has also prepared economic impact studies evaluating the direct, indirect, and induced benefits of airport operations as well as analyzed the economic impacts of implementing selected airport development alternatives. She has prepared economic impact studies for the airports serving Fort Myers, Guam, Houston (William P. Hobby Airport), Manchester, Pensacola, Pittsburgh, and the State of Kansas Airport System.
