Mark Lunsford, Vice President

Mark has 19 years of experience in airport consulting, including facility, land use, economic, and security studies. As Vice President - Global Aviation/Americas/Asia of LeighFisher, he oversees all aviation-related work performed by the company, as well as all work in the North, Central, and South American regions and Asia.

Mark has served as the project principal for a series of studies to assist the U.S. Transportation Security Administration (TSA) with a nationwide strategic planning study regarding the deployment of explosives detection systems (EDS) for checked baggage screening, including development of a funding and financing strategy for installing in-line screening systems.  In this capacity, Mark was responsible for team management and client coordination.

Mark has managed airport security planning assignments for Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood, John F. Kennedy (Terminal 3), and Houston international airports, as well as provided oversight for similar studies at Los Angeles, Ontario, and Oakland international airports.
