Riccardo Mattei, Director
Riccardo is a transport planner with over 18 years’ experience in the industry. His multi-disciplinary skills include transport modelling, planning and financing for all transport modes. Riccardo joined LeighFisher in 2008 to manage transport consultancy operations in Italy and Western Europe, mainly on the P3 market. Prior to joining LeighFisher, Riccardo was the founder and Branch Manager of the Italian office of Steer Davies Gleave.
Riccardo’s professional career commenced in London working almost four years gaining extensive technical knowledge of transport sector. Riccardo has since been based in Italy, specializing in transport business consultancy projects internationally.
Riccardo has undertaken a wide range of technical assignments including modelling and forecasting transport demand, P3 studies, restructuring of networks, market strategy and business planning for transport operators, advice on the introduction of new technology, financial plans and project management of large feasibility multimodal studies.
He has recently focused on infrastructure projects that involve private sector investment, working for promoters, bidders and investors on P3 projects across the globe.
