We serve as advisor and delivery partner to government organizations as they navigate the uncertain territory of radically re-shaping public services in the face of an ageing population, changing demographics, new technologies, and a revived interest in vehicles such as social enterprise, and asset based structures. There is a drive towards greater de-centralization, openness and community involvement. Relentless cost pressures are forcing revenue reductions of 20-40%. Innovative sources of capital funding are needed and a rationalization of the property estate is urgently required with some government organizations having a 30-40% surplus of property, with attendant running costs.
